Kim Hilbig

Mrs. Hilbig is the lead teacher for 3K–1. Before joining EDS, she taught in a preschool intervention program working with 3–5 year olds with special needs. She holds certifications in Early Childhood, Elementary, Special Needs Multi-Categorical, and Special Needs for ages 3–5.

She earned her degree in Early Childhood from Thomas University and has also completed graduate coursework through the Read to Succeed Program at Clemson University and Capella University.

Mrs. Hilbig and her husband, David, have been married for 32 years. They are the proud parents of two adult children—one a Clemson graduate with a master’s degree in Materials Science Engineering, and the other a nursing graduate of the University of South Carolina. They are also blessed with two grandchildren under the age of one. In her free time, Mrs. Hilbig enjoys spending time with her family and caring for her dogs.
